GENEVIEVE'S
CAROUSEL CHALLENGE

Share the Joy

Capture the magic of a carousel ride and spread positivity in Genevieve’s name.

WHAT IS THE CAROUSEL CHALLENGE ?

THECAROUSELHISTORY

The Carousel Challenge was born from a vision: to create a ‘Carousel Village’ Developmental Center, a place where children with autism and other disabilities could enjoy the magic of carousels. Unfortunately, the pandemic derailed our initial plans. But our dream hasn’t faded. We’re now working to bring Genevieve’s beloved carousel back to life, ensuring that all children, regardless of their abilities, can experience the joy of a timeless ride.

WHY THE CAROUSEL?

Genevieve’s passion for carousels is infectious. Growing up in Santa Barbara, she cherished the city’s historic carousel, a beloved landmark for generations. Imagine her heartbreak when it was removed in 2017. We’ve rallied to preserve this piece of local history, aiming to create a movement that celebrates the joy and nostalgia carousels bring. Unfortunately, many municipalities view these iconic attractions as outdated, despite their enduring appeal.

Whether you’re in California or Columbia – you can be part of the laughter and fun of Genevieve’s Dream.
